Food security and the globalisation of water footprints: the case of Ethiopia
This presentation on virtual water trade was given at the 'Bernese Umweltforschungstag', held on 4 May 2010 at the main building of the University of Bern.
The content of the presentation was based on a case study on Ethiopia. It consisted of an in-depth discussion of the following issues of relevance: virtual water trade and food security, international trade, the role of China, FDI in biofuels, methodology and policy relevance.
