Adamu A. Pam has an LLM (2007); LLM (2002); BL (1995); LLB (1993) from the Torino Law School, the Nigerian Law School and the University of Jos, Nigeria. He currently teaches intellectual property law and international trade law at the University of Jos, Nigeria as well as working in a private legal practice as an IP attorney and consultant.

 

His previous professional positions include Legal Adviser to the Nigerian National Petroleum Development Company; Senior State Counsel, Office of the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Jos, Nigeria. He was involved in setting up one of Nigeria’s first legal research on-line libraries as well as developing an IP policy for the University of Jos.

 

Adamu’s PhD research examines the role of non-state actors in ensuring access to essential medicines in developing countries. His research will include an analyses of the legal framework of public–private partnerships and their governance structure.
