Ndiaye-Coïc Rougui

Rougui Ndiaye-Coïc obtained her Masters in Geopolitics from the French Institute of Geopolitics, Paris with special mention in 2005 and a BA in international relations from the Institut des Hautes Etudes en Relations Internationales, Paris. During her studies, Rougui wrote about migration management in West Africa. Before her consultancy for the NCCR, Rougui worked as a project officer at the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Geneva. At IOM, Rougui contributed on the drafting of various reports on Migration and Development and is the co-author of the IOM publication The MIDA Experience and Beyond, which will be launched in January 2010. Throughout her experience in dealing with projects on development for migration, she was convinced that all parties, namely the migrants, their countries of origin and their countries of destination, needed to be involved in migration management issues.
