Herger Nils

Nils Herger is programme manager of the Central Bankers Courses at the Study Centre Gerzensee, lecturer at the University of Berne, and research affiliate to the National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) Trade Regulation. He studied for a BA. in economics at the Universities of Bern and Neuchâtel and received an MSc. and PhD in economics from the University of Exeter (United Kingdom). Before taking up his current position at the study centre, Nils worked as an economic advisor for the Swiss Competition Commission (Wettbewerbskommission) and the Swiss Business Federation (Economiesuisse). His research interests include international finance, monetary policy and industrial organisation.
