Boie Bertram

Bertram Boie’s research focuses on investment matters, particularly between Europe and China. Here, many matters relevant for enhancing coherence in international investment regulation come together, including the current fragmentation in regulatory issues, open substantive matters, and investment distortion.

Before joining the NCCR/WTI as a PhD researcher, Mr Boie worked at an investment advisory firm in Beijing and was a Carlo-Schmid fellow at UNCTAD’s section for international investment agreements. Mr Boie holds an LL.M. (cum laude) in European and international economic law from Maastricht University and studied international relations at the TU Dresden’s Centre for International Studies.
