Dr Wüger is a senior research fellow at the Institute of European and International Economic Law (IEW) and the World Trade Institute, Berne. He is a graduate of the University of Berne, has a master’s degree from Georgetown University Law Center (GULC) and a doctoral degree from the University of Berne. He is a lecturer at the University of Berne and an adjunct professor of law at GULC.

Dr Wüger has served as a consultant to the World Bank and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (seco). Before coming to the University of Berne, Dr Wüger was the Program Director of the Institute of International Economic Law (Georgetown University), a research fellow at the IEW and worked for the Swiss Justice Department.
