Visiting Researcher, Biotechnology (IP09) Danielle Bochneak is a visiting researcher with the WTI for the 2007 summer. While in Bern, she will be comparing U.S. to E.U. human genetic patenting law. Having received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Industrial and Operations Engineering, she now resides in Chicago, IL where she is completing her final year of law school at Chicago-Kent College of Law. While studying full time, Danielle also is a researcher for the Institute for Science, Law, and Technology, directed by Professor Lori Andrews. Her field of focus is on the U.S. intellectual property regime, particularly related to U.S. Patent and Trademark Office reform and subject matter patentability.
