Damaris Jankowski studied biology at the Universities of Constance and Freiburg, Germany. She specialized in immunology, cell biology and genetics as well as in environmental medicine. After more than four years in research and working in the pharmaceutical industry, she gained additional qualification in project-coordination at the University of Berne. Since October 2007 she has been working as a consultant to the IP9 in the field of human biotechnology.
