Elisa Gamberoni is a PhD candidate in International Economics at the Graduate Institute of International Studies (IUHEI) in Geneva. Her field of research includes: Special and Differential Treatment, Regionalism and Foreign Direct Investment
She obtained a Master degree in International Relations (with the specialization in International Economics) from the IUHEI in 2006. From 2001 to 2004, Elisa completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Bocconi, Milan and the University College of Dublin. She obtained the Laurea (Bachelor honours) in the Economics of Public Administration and International Organizations in mid 2004.
Elisa’s recent positions included: Teaching Assistant at the IUHEI for International Development, Assistant Economic Advisor for the Permanent Mission of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste to the United Nations as well as Coordinator of the volunteer team for the Conference on Microfinance in 2005 at CASIN, Geneva.
