Alternate Leader, Finance ( IP10)
Portrait Nils Herger is alternate leader of Individual Project (IP) 10. He studied for a BA. in economics at the Universities of Bern and Neuchâtel and received an MSc. and Ph.D. in economics from the University of Exeter (United Kingdom). Before taking up his current position, Nils has worked as an economic advisor for the Swiss Competition Commission (Wettbewerbskommission) and the Swiss Business Association (Economiesuisse). Aside from NCCR Trade Regulation, Nils holds the position of program manager of the Central Bankers Courses at the Study Centre Gerzensee and is a lecturer at the Economics Department of the University of Berne. His research interest include empirical aspects of international trade and finance, international investment, the economics of corruption, and industrial organisation.
