Sino Swiss Workshop on the Protection of Fundamental Rights

The Law School of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), Beijing and the Institute of Federalism (IF), University of Fribourg are jointly organizing the 2010 Sino Swiss Workshop on the Protection of Fundamental Rights.

The two‐day Workshop, which is part of a long‐standing cooperation between the IF and CUPL is financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and aims at bringing together Swiss and Chinese scholars to examine the protection of fundamental rights, with a special focus on protection of special groups.

 

Speakers

The Workshop is organised on a tandem basis, with a Swiss and Chinese speaker giving a ten minutes talk each on the same topic, followed by a discussion.

Modalities

The Workshop is held in English and Mandarin with consecutive translation in English/Mandarin.

The Workshop is open to the public. No registration is needed.
