Since September 2005, Margrit has been responsible for oversight of the administrative function in the WTI's National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR). In January 2002, she was appointed to the position of Director of Administration as well as of Program Administrator to the MILE Program (WTI).
She is a native of Berne, and has lived in the USA. After obtaining formal qualifications as an executive assistant, she worked as Marketing and Sales assistant for an international company. She also teaches Information Technology and German correspondence at the Commercial School (WKS) in Bern.
