Susan Kaplan took up the position of Scientific Editor at the WTI NCCR in September 2005. Since gaining a BSc in botany and an MSc in crop physiology, she has worked as an editor, particularly on scientific publications. Originally from England, she moved to Berne in 1991 and worked as a freelance editor, mainly for the World Health Organization, until taking up her present position.
